Membership

Membership at Grace Park Hawthorn Club offers a number of benefits, including access to the fantastic facilities and involvement in  the history and tradition of one of Melbourne's great Clubs.

The Club offers an unbeatable blend of experience, location and resources to ensure the needs of Members, their families and guests are met both on and off the tennis court.

To apply for membership,  complete and submit the nomination form found on this page. This form should be signed by a proposer and seconder, who must be members of the Club.  If you do not know a member please contact the club. A $25 non-refundable nomination fee is due with lodgement of an application. Upon acceptance for membership, the nomination fee will be counted as part payment of the full entrance fee, with the balance of the entrance fee and annual subscription being payable on election to membership.

From time to time, upon lodgement of an application for membership, the applicant may be placed on a waiting list. Election to membership takes place at meetings of the General Committee. Successful applicants, upon being notified of their election, have one month to take up the offer, which is conditional upon payment of the balance of the entrance fee and the due subscription.

Membership of the Club is available in the following categories

  • Adult

  • Junior

  • Family

  • Social

  • Mid-week

Adult Member

  • Use of tennis court facilities

  • Use of squash court facilities

  • Use of gymnasium

  • Use of snooker room

  • Use of the bar/meals and other social facilities

  • Member only specials and events

Junior Member

  • Use of tennis court facilities

  • Use of squash court facilities

  • Use of fitness facilities (must be 15 years or older)

  • Use of snooker facilities if 18 years or older

  • Use of the bar/meals and other social facilities (U18 when accompanied by and adult)

  • Member only specials and events

Junior Members must be under 25.

Family Member

  • Adult family members have all the benefits of Adult members

  • Adult Junior members have all the benefits of Junior members

A family membership must contain a minimum of 3 people comprising at least 1 adult and 1 junior under 21 years (and over 5 years of age) residing at the same address to qualify for the family discount on total membership fees.

Social Member

GPHC welcomes social members to enjoy the bar/meals and other social facilities of the club.

Mid-week Member

Midweek members receive the same access as an Adult member with the restriction that all facilities (with the exception of bar and dining where there is no restriction) may only be used between 9am - 3pm Monday to Friday.

 

Please note that a mid-week member wishing to use the clubs facilities beyond the restricted hours is required to pay a booking fee at the applicable non-member rate (of $30 per hour).
