GPHC Annual Fundraising Trivia Night
What a fabulous and fun evening we shared at this year’s Annual Fundraising Trivia Night! The event was a great success with over 110 members and guests, and it would not have been possible without the generosity, effort, and support of so many people.
We sincerely thank our generous prize donors: Vaporetto, Poloman Menswear, C9 Ice Cream, Leaf Store Hawthorn, Jewels of Hawthorn, Rhodes Hair and Spa, Bunnings, Toms Shoes, Move Beyond Osteo, Balwyn Sports and Physio, Glenferrie Gourmet, Melbourne Racing Club, House of Fine Wines, and Dulux.
A very special thank you also goes to our valued Business Partners: F8 Squash, Absolutely Delicious, Fitness Complete, Hubble Tennis, Absolute Tennis, and Perfect Form Pilates.
We are especially grateful to our wonderful members who kindly donated auction items: Terry & Sandra Stone, Arno Filipinni, John Rives, and Claire Rogers & Michael Brown.
Our main sponsor, Desiree Wakim from Marshall White, deserves heartfelt recognition for her ongoing support, along with Bendigo Bank for generously providing the winning table prize.
On the day, many hands made light work: Jane Nathan (President), Jimmy Boyle (Secretary), Allegra Randazzo (Member), and James Canty (Committee Member) gave their time to help with set-up. A special acknowledgment also goes to Brendan Clennett (Maintenance), who spent most of Friday setting up tables and AV.
Of course, no event would be complete without fabulous food – and once again Michelle and the team at Absolutely Delicious delivered an exceptional spread enjoyed by all.
These events don’t happen without teamwork, and this Trivia Night was a shining example of what we can achieve together as a community. Thank you to everyone who contributed, attended, and made the night such a memorable success! The winner of the Wendy Shipp Trophy was The Kimonos and the team members were - Rosie Kelly, Alison Weber, Tim Weber. Mark Weber, Gillian Fawcett, Ian Jamieson, Libby O’Sullivan, John O’Sullivan. All awarded wine donated by Bendigo Bank.
We would also like to thank Wahyu Sanjaya (Ruma Creative) for his time on the night creating videos and capturing snapshots of our members and guests. See link below to share in these moments.
